SPRINGFIELD, OH — 3/9/2026 — Organizers of Springfield’s beloved IndieCraft festival proudly announce a new name, a renewed mission, and an exciting new chapter: FromOhio Music Festival. Building on the rich history of bringing live music to our vibrant community, FromOhio Music Festival will shine a spotlight on the incredible homegrown talent coming out of Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus areas.
While the name is changing, the heartbeat of the festival remains exactly the same. FromOhio Music Festival will continue to feature the elements fans have come to love: intimate performances at beloved local venues, an eclectic mix of authentic food trucks, and a robust showcase of local craft beer.
"We realized that some of the best up-and-coming talent in the country isn't a plane ride away—they are right here in our own backyard," says Christopher Schutte, VP of the Greater Springfiedl Partnership. "Transitioning from IndieCraft to FromOhio Music Festival allows us to create a more sustainable, deeply rooted event that celebrates the unbelievable music ecosystem of the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus areas. We get to pair that incredible regional talent with Springfield’s unmatchable local venues, brewers, and culinary creators."
Lineup announcements featuring top regional acts, participating food vendors, and local craft brewery partners will be rolling out over the coming weeks. Fans are encouraged to follow the new social media handles at @FromOhioFest and join the conversation using the hashtag #FromOhioFest.
